Our Nurses are experienced in tele-detailing Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Hospital staff and other professionals who make or influence purchasing and or prescription of drugs, medical devices and other formulary products. However, Physician offices and hospitals have changed in significant ways in the last decade, and we have adjusted our tactics accordingly. More recently, Physician detailing is a category that has experienced rapid growth. Pharmaceutical and biotech companies must seek alternatives as they measure the decreasing value and ability of their sales reps to see and speak with Physicians. Phone detailing is not for every product and every doctor. But, it can be an efficient adjunct to (or in some cases a substitute for) face-to-face detailing. Phone detailing and sample/literature placement can be a powerful and inexpensive method of detailing and sample placement-- especially when it is part of a multi-faceted effort. The success of a detail is dependent on the skill and knowledge of the person doing the detail and the quality of the Physician database being used. Alliance's call center is staffed with Registered Nurses. Nurses understand how Physicians communicate; they understand the indications and speak the same language. They are also very adept at getting past the gatekeeper. We can also help manage the practice’s sample closet inventory at a much lower “per call” cost than that of a face-to-face sample delivery call. In many cases, sample calls can account for the largest percentage of office visit activity. And, with the advent of HIPAA, it is increasingly difficult for reps to get beyond the waiting room to check sample closet inventory and “manage” it. These face-to-face sample visits are more and more becoming delivery services, which can be rendered for much less cost by a combination of phone and mail. When a crisis needs to be dealt with in a hurry or new information needs to be disseminated quickly, our nurses can “visit” more offices in a day than anyone in the field force. In addition to tele-detailing, Alliance provides hospital profiling services to help make sense of the ever changing landscape within the hospital setting. Alliance’s profiling database will contain all pertinent information about the hospital and any possible satellite locations, it’s Physicians, Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacists, Materials Management personnel, Hospital Administrators, P&T committee members and all contractors and personnel who are directly involved or are heavy influencers of the purchase and or prescription of your product.
