Healthcare Information is a full service healthcare marketing organization
specializing in complex health-related projects. We hire communication
professionals with a high level of experience and expertise. Alliance’s client base
includes pharmaceutical clients, medical device companies and private and
government healthcare organizations. Our core services are call center
programs, database management, and fulfillment.
We
are currently seeking to fill multiple Licensed Drug Information
Specialists and Customer Assistance Specialists for a new client program at
offices located near Wilmington,
DE. The client is a major
pharmaceutical company.
Position overview:
Our client’s inbound phone
number is available nationally to healthcare providers, consumers, business
sectors, and many others. The calls
are customer inquiries on pharmaceutical products. Topics range from adverse event
identification and reporting, to brand-specific program procedures, and
include escalation as needed.
Training and learning multiple products is a key component of this
challenging job. Our client has high
expectations for regulatory and legal compliance, accuracy of information
provided to the customer, commitment to customer service, efficiency,
competency in the use of complex computer systems, teamwork and
professional behavior. The work may
often include periods of high call, e-mail, and postal mail correspondence
volume. These factors result in the
need for a highly skilled and motivated person.
Training:
Initial orientation and training ranges from
three weeks for Customer Assistance Specialists to up to eight weeks for
Licensed Drug Information Specialists.
Upon completion of training, the highly qualified team of
pharmacists, nurses, and communication professionals are prepared to
interact with internal and external customers on many subjects. The staff receives general and brand specific
information training. Brand Specialists
are also cross-trained in other brand areas to allow for reallocation of
resources.
Requirements:

U.S. Licensed RN or Pharmacist
(Required for Drug Information Specialist).
·
Significant customer service experience in highly professional environment
(Customer Assistance Specialists).
·
Experience in and understanding of the healthcare industry.
·
Demonstrated customer focus, preferably in a call center
environment.
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·
Demonstrated affinity for/expertise in ongoing change and
learning.
·
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
